now that Debian 8 Jessie has been released, I would like to raise the question whether there are plans to provide compatible installier packages especially with regards to ARM hardware.
It's been a known issue for a while that LMS can't be run with perl versions higher than 5.14 on ARM since the installer packages don't include the required binaries for ARM hardware but only x64/x86. This affects Ubuntu 14.04 or higher, and now the freshly released Debian Jessie.
So, are there any plans to provide installer packages that bring suport for newer perl versions and thus newer Linux distributions for the ARM architecture?
Maybe this could also mark the stable release of LMS 7.8.1?
